Account Opening

Please allow our onboarding team up to one business day to verify your documents, however, we will aim to have your account open within the hour.

It is possible, however, to avoid confusion we advise having all your trading accounts under the same Client Area profile, using the same email address.

We require a proof of identity and a proof of residence document from you. Proof of identity can be a valid passport, driving license or national ID card. As a proof of residence, we can accept a utility bill or bank statement showing your full name and address, and that is dated within the last six months.

This is due to obligatory ‘Know your Client’ (KYC) procedures that we must follow, in accordance with international Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulations

Yes, please send your request to [email protected]. Please attach any supporting documents, for example, a marriage certificate for a name change, or proof of address for a residential address change.

Please send an email to [email protected] from your registered email address, and ensure that you include the IB’s referral number in your email.

For some specific countries, we may be able to accept one of the following documents as the proof of residence document: 1. Confirmation of residential address from their local municipality 2. An additional ID document + the PO Box POR document 3. An employment or rental agreement which includes the residential address 4. A police record or a local tax form

We will require proof of identity and proof of residence for all directors and beneficial owners. We will also require the certificate of incorporation and memorandum of articles of association. If the beneficial owner is another entity we will also require additional documentation, please reach out to our onboarding team ([email protected]) for more information.

All corporate applications will require an LEI (Legal Entity Identifier).If you do not already have one there are various sites to apply via including https://www.lei.direct/

We offer the following base currencies for our trading accounts: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD.

Yes, you can have up to eight trading accounts. You can open additional accounts anytime via your Clients Area (https://portal.fpmarkets.com/int-EN/login) by selecting ‘Accounts Summary’ and then ‘Add Live Account’.

To close your trading account please email [email protected] and request a full withdrawal of funds if you haven’t already done so.

We will disable your account if there is zero balance and no activity for more than three months. Unlike other brokers, we will not charge an admin fee for this, and we are able to reactivate it anytime you wish to resume your trading. If you wish to reactivate, please send your request from your registered email address to [email protected]

Yes, we provide the Swap-Free accounts for all our Muslim Clients. We offer 5 nights free of any admin charges on the majors, for all other nightly admin fees please see the following link: https://www.fpmarkets.com/int/islamic-account/

We are only able to provide clients of the Muslim faith with an Islamic (Swap free) account, in accordance with Shariah Law

FP Markets is a registered broker therefore we do not offer bonuses on our trading accounts.

We are only able to accept clients from certain jurisdictions. If you cannot see your country, unfortunately at this time we are not able to accept your application.
